Status on 24 October 2026
The 2026-27 alpine World Cup has started and the other World Cups have not (see the 2026-27 season). FIS has announced its broadcast arrangements for North America for 2026-27. For Europe and the rest of the world, the research did not collect country-by-country rights, so this page does not list them. Olympic broadcast rights for 2030, as the IOC states them, could not be reached either.
United States, 2026-27
FIS said on 21 October 2026 that its World Cup events in the United States will be shown on NBC platforms, and on a new 24/7 channel and YouTube channel, both called "Ski & Snowboard World Cup", launching in November 2026. FIS describes the channel as free and ad-supported.
FIS names the services carrying that channel as Prime Video, Fire TV, Google TV, Live TV on PS5, Plex, Sony Pictures Core, The Roku Channel and Xumo Play, with more to be announced. A search summary of the same FIS item says the channel is launched with U.S. Ski & Snowboard and NBC; that detail is unconfirmed.
Canada, 2026-27
In Canada, CBC and its Gem streaming service hold what FIS calls its most comprehensive Canadian rights package in more than a decade, and the same Ski & Snowboard World Cup channel is available as well (FIS, 21 October 2026).
Which disciplines the North American deal covers
FIS says the arrangement covers the World Cups in alpine skiing, cross-country, ski jumping, Nordic combined, freestyle, freeski and snowboard. Biathlon, run by the IBU, and ski mountaineering, run by the ISMF, are not in FIS's list, and the research did not look at how they are shown.
FIS TV
FIS TV, at watch.fis-ski.com, is FIS's own free platform, and its event page for the 2026-27 Soelden opener was live when the research was done (from a search-result listing).
In October 2024 FIS set out a policy for what it calls "dark markets", countries where it has no broadcast partner; the examples it gave were Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. There, FIS TV would stream World Cups live with English commentary and, from January 2025, keep full competitions on demand for seven days, on YouTube, Apple TV and Android TV (FIS, 25 October 2024). Whether that policy still applies in 2026-27 was not confirmed, and the list of dark markets may have changed.
Everywhere else
A search summary of FIS's event pages says they list the national broadcasters for each event and warn that availability varies by region and can change. The research did not collect those lists, so we do not name broadcasters for any other country.
